Gunung Lang Recreation Park Ipoh

Gunung Lang is located just five kilometers from the town of Ipoh is one of the many limestone mountain in the state of Perak, Malaysia, especially in the Kinta Valley. Gunung Lang has become a recreational area by the City Council (MBI) in collaboration with the Tourism Ministry in 1999. The park is equipped with three artificial lakes of a former tin mine. Tranquil blue lakes filled with fresh water fish, especially complain, carp, carp, and tilapia and im pretty sure u guys want to check out this place!

So whats interesting about Gunung Lang?

This park provided a sidewalk across the entire park is equipped with a remote view of the tower, the traditional home of Perak, square roots, floating endowment, pergola, gates heritage, toilets and prayer.

Thats it?only that??

Not only about that,this park brings dozens of species of Heliconia or shrimp known as 'clip' to making it the largest park ever gather heliconia species in Malaysia.

Many rare species of flowers and only grows wild in the woods outside this country.Species as ornamental plants because of the uniqueness of various types and have different sizes, colors and shapes that are of interest, especially fans of these ornamental plants.

Psittacorum Sassy (orange)
Psittacorum rubra (yellow)
India Lamarck spectabilis (pink)
Angusta Vellozo Red Christmas (red and white).

You can explore the forest of banana species that are difficult to find and has not been seen in other places, including:

Musa Laverder Pink
Lasiocarpo
Sumatrana
Coccina.

Banana forest types were planted with different types and sizes of the forest where many species of bananas are smaller in size than the normal banana.

While the types of leaves are small, different colors like the color red and pink banana, red hearts and the most uniquely colored.



This park do provide a playground full of children, and camping. This special camp sites can accommodate up to 600 visitors at a time period for carrying out various activities including motivational camps, family day and family camp.

Oh ya,fares for the boat: RM3 for adults, and for child rm 1.50 same goes to senior citizen.

HOW TO GET THERE?
If you are from Ipoh city, you need to follow the road leading to Kuala Kangsar, Kuala Kangsar. Only 5 minutes away from Ipoh town.

If you are from Kuala Lumpur, you just need to get out of the North-South Highway exit at Ipoh Utara 1 km from there you will find signs of Gunung Lang Recreational Park.
